Peter Fox

Pete Fox was born in Sandusky, Ohio and moved to Corpus Christi, TX in 1958. He spent his adolescent summer years fishing and surfing in Port Aransas and working as a deckhand., dock-boy and mate. After graduating from high school, Pete was drafted into the United States Army where he earned numerous medals including the Bronze Star. After his service to his country he returned to Port Aransas and became a successful businessman with the startup of Marine Surveyors, Inc. and Fox Yacht Sales. He became an avid sports fisherman, rancher, family man and mentor/counselor to many youth of Port Aransas.

His brokerage experience began with Richard Bertram Co. of South Padre. He was then hired by the Marine Group to open an office in Port Aransas. In 1989 he established Western Gulf Sales with Hal Tompkins. Fox Yacht Sales was established in 1993 with Pete as the owner and President of the company. Fox Yacht Sales continues to be a family owned and operated business with his sons at the helm in Port Aransas with offices in Rockport/Fulton, South Padre and Seabrook.
